Omar A. Morillo

Omar Morillo is the Founder and CEO of Imperio Wealth Advisors, a boutique wealth management firm dedicated to helping executives, business owners, and multigenerational families preserve, grow, and steward their wealth with intention.

Early in his career, Omar advised clients at large financial institutions, where he saw firsthand that the industry's standardized approach often failed to address the complex realities faced by successful individuals and families. His clients weren't simply looking for investment management; they needed sophisticated guidance around tax efficiency, asset protection, risk management, retirement planning, business succession, estate strategies, and legacy planning.

That realization became the catalyst for founding Imperio, a firm dedicated to helping successful owners keep more of what they built. Omar envisioned a firm that would combine the personalized experience of a boutique advisory practice with the sophisticated resources and institutional expertise typically reserved for much larger firms.

At Imperio, Omar and his team advise individuals navigating significant wealth events and complex financial decisions, including tax, liquidity, estate, and succession planning for clients with eight-figure-plus investment portfolios and substantial annual tax obligations.

For Omar, wealth has never been about accumulating more; it has always been about creating greater freedom. Freedom to spend more time with family, pursue meaningful work, support important causes, and leave a lasting legacy.

Omar earned his undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management before completing the Executive Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Post-Graduate Program at the University of Miami. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF).

Beyond his work with clients, Omar is a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) and the Fast Company Executive Board. He lives in South Florida with his wife, their two children, and their rescue dog, Choco.
