Mayelin Alvarez

Mayelin Alvarez is a Wealth Advisor who understands entrepreneurs because she has been one. For nearly a decade, she owned and ran a food supply company serving the hospitality industry, and she learned firsthand what it takes to build and sustain a business.

That experience led her to business consulting. She helped owners find inefficiencies, strengthen operations and position their companies for lasting growth, so they could avoid the pitfalls she wishes someone had pointed out to her. Her consulting work brought her into financial services more than a decade ago and later into wealth management.

Today, Mayelin guides entrepreneurs through key areas of their financial lives. She takes a well-rounded approach, putting in place strategies for tax efficiency, asset protection, risk management, retirement, business transitions, estate planning and legacy.

A passionate advocate for small businesses, Mayelin has volunteered with SCORE, mentoring entrepreneurs as they grow their businesses and strengthen their communities. She has spoken as a panelist at the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Executive Women’s Roundtable, Business Expo Doral, and the FIU Foundation’s Empowering Hispanics in Philanthropy forum.

Mayelin is fluent in English and Spanish and holds a Series 65 license and a Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Annuities Agent license. Outside the office, she treasures time with her daughter and their dog, Bear.
